Seat belt Reminder

Does anyone know how to eliminate the seat belt reminder beeper in an 07 997? I know you should always wear your belt but I would like the option and not have to listen to the beeper.

You can either have the dealer turn it off using PIWIS (unlikely as it exposes them to liability) or use Durametric and shut it off.

In either case, you need to program the ECU to disable the warning.

Once you put the belt on, it stops!

I did turn it off with Durametric, but to do so you need the professional tool and software 6!

I thought about turning mine off but then I figured if I did that I would end up not wearing it. That's not a good thing in this day and age.

you can probably buy another seat belt and remove the buckle from it so you can use it like a key and just plug it in when you need to.

lets not be so quick to judge right? I could see reason to have the reminder turned off if you are shuffling cars around or trying to ghost ride

Yes. Many really good guns (SigSauer P226) don't have them.
