2012 Turbo S Build Sheet

I did a 60 month lease on my 07 thinking I would buy/mod but only powdercoated my rims black. I have 12 months left on TT lease and received a letter from Porsche NA that they will cover my last 12 $2488 p/month payments if I get a new vehicle by 6/30. So I am looking at returning my 07 TT tip and jumping to an 2012 Turbo S in the next week or so. I want a black on black coupe again, but all options are up for grabs. Can somebody post a Turbo S "build sheet" for me please ? For some reason I'm thinking about these options: black rims and alacantra wheel. Sounds silly I know and I might just take a readily available car out of some dealers stock, but I really want to know what options I can have as I will live with the car for the next 4 years. Can any TTS owners give me some option guidance please. Thanks.

Just go to the Porsche.com web site and build your car.
It is very easy.

Got same letter, they only cover up to $1500/mo of your remaining payments. And discounts on tts are minimal.
Go to porscheusa.com and build a car

Porsche will cover up to 12 payments of up to $2500 p/month for a max. of $30K. I went to the Porsche builder but my computer doesn't allow me to access all of the options. Anyway, this is coming down to what 2012 TTS is available with existing stock. To say that a dealer will not discount is pure fantasy when we are in a horrific economy. Query isn't will you discount, rather its how much you can discount and still make the deal. I'll sign a contract on Monday for a 4 year lease at 12K miles per year at $2500 per month for a decently optioned TTS. I just want to get a well optioned TTS, not a stripper.

If they are telling you up to 30k waive payments then thats great. I know that here in CA people are coming form northern area of the state to Los Angeles to buy a TTS at a slight discount since their dealers wont give any. My local dealer here in SD said they would do only 1500 off as a favor since I am repeat customer. But in LA they are discounting more because they have the inventory and the most was 5k off that I could negotiate which put my lease at 3200/mo 12k miles for 36months for msrp of 174k. Not sure of it yet so not moving forward, again YET. The smaller city dealers are only getting one TTS every few months and they have no problem selling them so if they can get sticker for it then they will and thus no discounts....but thats here in CA.
Wish I could do a longer lease to lower my payments but I never keep cars very long at all.

I don't think there are a plethora of TTS coupes around regardless of where you are located. I can't imagine they will make more than 300 or so 2012 TTS coupes for the US market. That being said, there just aren't a glut of consumers willing to spend $2500 p/month, let alone $3K p/month, on a sports car. Not saying dealers will sit on product for many months, but if there is a willing buyer, you'd be a schmuck to not make a deal with a loyal repeat customer. We are not talking about a super rare car like the GT2RS where the US market received a hundred or so units, so the TTS coupe will need to be discounted. At some price point, even tried and true TT guys like me may look elsewhere. An 08 F430 Scud or an 07 599 perhaps ? Nah .... I'll stick with a boring daily driver.

Someone may correct me, but I thought the window for custom ordering may be closing soon for the TTS? I read somewhere that July/August is going to be the last of the TTS.

BTW, if you get Alcantra steering wheel, you may lose the paddle shifter. So you may want to double check. Black wheels should look great but my wife forbid me to turn the whole car black. IMHO, a stripped TTS is already very loaded but of course I am biased. (My TTS only has 3k worth of options) A couple of things my dealer mentioned which most people want for resale is heated seats and XM but I didn't even get those since I only listen to my iPod or good old AM for news; and weather here in CA never required heated seat.

TT Surgeon,

I'm dealing with Eric at Porsche Roslyn (which is where I leased and service my 07 TT. Tony Carbone the former GM at Porsche Roslyn did my last deal, but he is no longer there. I think that Eric and Jack can do a national search for us to find our TTS's, but if the product we want is on the west coast, as an example, there will be an $1800 delivery charge or so (purportedly) that will need to be factored in to the deal.

Has Jack found you the exact TTS you want ? Is so I'd love to hear what it is. My private email is tortesq1@yahoo.com if you want to PM me.

I do have adaptive sports seat for mine and the other TTS I saw when I picked up my car is also with adaptive sports seat.

See link here: http://downtown-la.porschedealer.com...91304/info.php

This one is indeed black-on-black and if you want to deal with DTLA Porsche, please pm me so I can point you to the right person. I had a really great pre/post sales experience with them.

That black on black was one of the cars that I could choose from. Pretty minimalist. My 07TT has total carbon packages, yellow seat belts and dev. stitching, black rims, etc. Its tough to not be able to customize your ride in any way shape or form. I always thought that the painted interior (ie. seatbacks, console, etc.) looked cool, but doesn't look like I'll get a well optioned TTS unless I'm totally flexible with my desired color combo.
