traction control issue again....

Guys, how many of you have same problem like I have.

on 1 gear its cutting off at about 4000rpm and on the 2 gear at 6000rpm.

my ecu guy analyzed everything and he is sure it's traction control system, so he switched off part of ecu responsible for traction control but still it's working !!!!!!

my car just back from germany with some new results

At a certain point you need to understand that you're simply over powering the traction control system and it will no longer be as smooth. The factory traction control system is limited in the sense that there aren't many people on this planet that are capable of adequately programming a factory computer. Those that say they can for the most part are lying.

I discussed this subject earlier and compare it to what Evoms faced in Txs mile last season
No one took the subject seriously
Soon they will
I believe Evoms were working on this as well I don't know if they came out with any solution for this but m sure they'll not share it if they have it
Regards

Are you still running stock ecu? changing the ecu to aftermarket, like motec or whatever is used on high hp porsches might help?

sure you are 100% right, but how many fast porsche running non stock ecu you know? I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible.

Carol, have you tried running the car with PSM off?
Is the problem still there ?

Milou,

Unfortunately, switching PSM off will not turn off traction control completely in our cars.
It merely raises the threshold before it begins to interfere again.
With very high powered cars, it doesn't take much effort before that threshold is breached and TC goes berserk.
