Hello. What boost should the reflashed decated 997.1 tt run?
Here is the video of my boost in psi. is it looks right? or we need to run it a little more?
Anyone with reflashed car ever measured the actual boost they run?

Varies by tune - ask your tuner.

 

What are the different tunes typically running? I'm at 13 psi but I'm thinking proto tune should have me at about 15?

 

My tune runs and holds 15psi in the "normal" mode and in "sport", it holds 17psi. However, I was just down at BBI this past Friday and they did some second gear pulls in my car with a computer hooked up to it, it was spiking at 22/23psi.

 

19-19.5psi with Proto tune.

 

I think the built in boost max read is 15 and 17 respectively normal/sport .. and that thing can not be trusted.. unless stock(ish)

What are you trying to say?

 

The spiking was only registering on the data logs, not on the boost gauge read out.

 

The read out does not read any higher than 15 in stock and 17 in sport. Not 100% sure what you are logging with (Durametric ? - Maybe reading from the same source)

I think it is 18 or 20 on GT2s..again .. just the built-in read out and that is why I said it cant be trusted...

So they had a laptop hooked up to the OBDII port while we were driving around. Not sure what software or program they were actually using, but I did see the Durametric logo on top of one of the screens.

The 22/23psi spikes were occurring in "sport" mode not sure what the boost was actually holding.

 

Man it looks like I might need a retune lol!!
