Price check on 997.1 turbo wing

I'm trying to replace the top part of my rear spoiler. The wing got damage (don't ask) two days after I got my car :/..... It is just the top part of the wing (the part that is raised up from the rest of the car). I emailed one Porsche dealer and he quoted me 5k! I have to assume that was for the entire assembly when all I need is the fiberglass part that gets raised... Anyone know for sure?

Thanks

How about getting an aftermarket part at like 1/3 the price. You can even get it in carbon fibre and paint it body colour.

Lol... I'll sell you my stock one for half that!

Just get a carbon fiber one from Rottec and paint it. That'll get the price way down.

I would recommend finding a used one from someone on the forum who has one after doing an after market upgrade ( like swtdds offered ). Good luck with your search...I've been looking for a 997.1 arctic silver front bumper cover from someone who might have one from a similar situation with no luck so far.

That is robbery! Especially when you can buy the whole factory aero kit from suncoast for less which includes deck lid, spoiler, side skirts, front lip and rear valence.
