Looking at a Turbo S and hate the factory wheels. Not crazy about the very few choices on aftermarket for the center lock. Can the car be easily changes over to regular lugs?

Center Locks look sick. There are aftermarket centerlocks and more comming out. I think if you get the S the center locks are really sharp.

I am in the same predicament. The way I am buying time is to powder coat the wheels with a better color/finish. In the near future, I will be getting better wheels for my car.

You might want to check on powder coating the forge wheels, it soften the wheel in the baking process.

Thank you for the link. It seems like the issue is to control the temp which they are using on the wheels. Too much heat might weaken that alloy. This is a great question to pose for the guys doing this job.

Don't think it's worth the risk for powdercoating.

I think if they bother you that much look for a car without the center locks. Or if you love this particular car, I'm sure there either is a wheel or one coming out in the near future that will suit your tastes.
