Price Check on 2007 Turbo
Price Check on 2007 Turbo
Dealer I'm friendly with just told me they took in an 07 black/black turbo yesterday with 27,500 miles. I am not sure of the options (although I can email him to get the sheet), but he said they took it in for high 60's and would let it go to me for high 60's low 70's.
I did a quick search on the usual sites and found it to be pretty low. Can options really effect it this much? Is this a great deal if it is true? They said no paintwork, no history, just a guy going through a divorce and his attorney told him to dump the cars. They sold it to him new in 2007 and he drives it occasionally.
Seems interesting. I wouldn't mind hopping out of my 11' E93 M3 for the right deal
Thoughts?

Price sounds very reasonable to me...perhaps too much so. Options won't bump the price that much. The ones that may significantly shift the price are sport chrono and transmission type (tip vs. 6 speed).
Despite what they tell you, I'd get the car in for a thorough PPI before moving forward. GL!

Based on what I've seen others post about what he or she paid I'd say that's a very good price. When you start to factor in items these cars need (tires, brakes, general service, etc.) at that mileage though low 70's turns into mid/high 70's quickly. Factor in a warranty (if you so choose) and you'll need to add several thousand more.
Thanks guys! I'm going to have him send the options sheet and I'll post it here so we can check it out together.
I leased the M3 so I'd likely do swap a lease or something. Little over a year left, 15k miles/year, loaded 2011 convertible.
Let's see how this turbo looks first.
