As States continue to spend more money than they can take in, you are going to see more of this. If flashing your headlights makes someone slow down, is that a bad thing? It's no longer about traffic safety, it's about REVENUE. I hope the plaintiffs win this class action.
This reminds me....I need to order that V1 soon.

I think there are some quotes from a few officials that make it clear it is just about revenue.
My favorite is seeing three police SUVS on the middle of the highway median all side by side at 2AM. Lots of crime fighting going on there, tax dollars well spent!
Now, you could say hey, whine and ***** until you actually need them... well, get into an an accident on US 95 and unless you're actually injured it takes the police an hour to get there, so there goes that retort

I hope he wins. I especially like his argument that the FHP should appreciate what he does because it makes people slow down.
I live in FL and know that the cops do this. But I FLash my high beams at other cars anyway. There's nothing Ive been able to find that says it's illegal, and I believe the FHP is being completely disingenuous by saying all they want is for people to drive safely

I hope he wins but they don't have to pay damages as that doesn't hurt the police but rather the taxpayers.
