997 Turbo S Performance, 206mph !
I ran my 997 Turbo S against some super fast cars on a 2mile air strip recently - was very happy with the results. I was hoping for 190mph + but saw an indicated 196mph on my first practice run!! By my 5th run was seeing 205mph on the speedo and then 206mph when racing against an amazingly fast Nissan GTR modded to what the owner said was comfortably over 700 bhp. The other GTR present was "only" modded to 650 hp, and I was happy when my Turbo S was quicker than it both from a standing start and at the top speed timing beams. Biggest scalp of the day was The Ferrari 599 GTO however, it was the most beautiful looking and sounding thing but the Turbo S had it's number ! Was very Impressed with the car yesterday, just took everything in it's stride and at an indicated 206mph it was still pulling with another 1000 rpm to go.
Also, anyone who has wondered about the benefits of Ceramic Brakes - Unbelievable stopping power, just solid and reliable every time with never so much as a grumble and zero fade!

If I was trying to tell people I did 200mph+ in a vehicle I would personally need to GPS verify it because I know from experience how wildly off speedometers can be at high speeds (speedo vs. a 10hz GPS receiver/data logger) .
Without GPS you have to accept the fact that you may be doing 19x mph instead of joining the venerable 200mph+ mph club

Stock Exhausts though car sounds lounder once upgrade installed, the tune makes around 600 hp, it could go more but the PDK can't handle more than 620.
I would not put much faith in it.
