Collectability?
Collectability?
As Porsche has stopped manufacturing turbos with manual transmissions
(in favor of the PDK), what are the chances that the final "production year" of the 911 turbo with manual transmission (currently 2008) will become highly sought-after, and possibly collectible?

they won'tdrop the manual in the non-S turbo.
manuals will be much rarer in number than ever before, but as there will never be a shortage of these vehicles i can't see any collectability.

Exactly, and to my knowledge it has not been officially confirmed the S will only be PDK either. My understanding from the dealer is it was a mistake of Porsche to not have offered a manual option in the S so i wouldn't be surprised to see the manual return. Porsche usually listens to its customers and dealers. And so far as the earlier car being collectible i can't see that happening even though it is a nice thought to think what i currently own will be worth more than what it currently is.
And when they stop producing manuals is when I stop being a Porsche customer.
