Looking for a 911 Turbo (S) PDK, Help!
Looking for a 911 Turbo (S) PDK, Help!
I had a white 2010 Turbo PDK many months ago that I sold and have missed ever since. That was my 5th 911 Turbo, so I keep coming back.
I am looking to pick up another 911 Turbo (or Turbo S) PDK coupe. I would consider a convertible if the deal was extra good. Looking for a color that doesnt show the dirt from rain, so maybe silver or gray. Black is 100% out of the question. I have checked all the normal online car sites eBay, Autotrader, Cars.com, Dupont, and Ove.com, and I am not seeing any great deals that jump out at me.
Anyone know of any really great deals to be had or any input on what the true market is on these cars would be helpful.
Thanks!

It took me a little bit of searching to find a dealer with a changeable allocation on a 2012 TTS Coupe, so there is definitely a demand on the new cars. As for the market on used 2011s, they also seem to be few and far between, and they are often in "safer" color configurations.
Thanks for the reply. I probably will look more to pick up another 2010 Turbo PDK, unless there's a Turbo S out there that is just too good of a deal to pass up. I plan to tune the ECU, so after that the regular Turbo will have the same power as a tuned Turbo S.
That seems to be the prevalent line of thinking. If you're aiming to tune, the premium you'd pay for the extra 30hp on the Turbo S over a regular Turbo is unjustified, and easily achieved with far less cost in mods. Of course, the TTS does also come with considerably more standard options than the Turbo.

Call Matt at Porsche of Roslyn. Tell him Jeff sent you. He has a Mexeco Blue loaded vert Turbo S 2012 brand spanking new sitting on the flloor that someone ordered, left a deposit on and walked away on. Go get it!
I have seen that 2012 TTS cab in Mexico Blue (or whatever its called) on the floor at Porsche Roslyn several times now. Its anything but stealthy. Its an incredibly beautiful (if not a bit flashy) TTS cab that says look at me "I'm a sexy **** and I can kick your ***". Even if you can get beyond the flash factor, the real problem is its $193K MSRP with no real discounting. IMHO if that car sits for another 6 plus months they will be lucky to get $150K for her as the luster of the TTS wears off and we get new info. on the 991TT. They also have a speedster in the same colors that has been sitting on the showroom floor for many many months now. Even though I'm a coupe guy and my TT's have always been coupes, if they would structure a $2500 per month 3 year 12K mile per year lease (taxes included and nothing down) I would take the TTS off their hands. Unfortunately, the way Porsche Financial does their leases I'd be paying something like $3100 per month for a long 5 year lease (nothing down with taxes rolled in) and I just refuse to bite that bullet again. My current 60 month lease is over in June and with a $57K buyback I might just buy my baby when the lease is over. Anyway, don't quote me on the exact lease price, but its real close to that #. You would think with the economy in the crapper and interest rates at historical lows that Porsche Financial would be trying to do some minimalist dealing on new TT's. They aren't and its a damn shame to loyal customers like us who form the backbone of Porsche USA.

Call Charles at Niello Porsche in California. Tell him George referred you. He is a great guy. I just sold a 2011 tts to them with 8000 miles. They just got title transfered last week, so I doubt they have sold it already.
you would think that with the ROW paying more for the cars and demand growing for product in these other countries, Porsche World would cut the US allocation and raise prices to the US.
Send me an email I'd you would be untreated in my 2011 turbo s. It has 10,450 miles is white and you can see the pics at barrier Porsche. The have it listed at $149k but email me if you are untreated. Brad
