The weather was dry (almost) and very cold at 0 degs C. Perfect day for a forced induction engine and a long end of road.

Drove out to the sea, met Skandalis for a cup of coffee... we didnt give him enough warning to have his 997 with, he was already there when we arranged it with his M3.

Had a few interesting runs on the way. Try racing a fellow 997TT with exhaust (mine was europipe 1, the black car has a crosspipe but I dont remember which), and have the car roar near your open window. WOW these engines are SCREAMING at WOT.

Looks fun Nick but I find it hard to imagine Athens at 0 deg. If wife allows me a leave pass in athens this year i think i should pack some 1.43 porsche models in my bag to make that next photo shoot look kosher so we can then say to the 6speeders the greeks are really doing it tough. Having real ones may cause a riot. And m3 BM?? what's going on over there skand?

No it doesn't actually. I havent driven my car in weeks and I avoid driving it in general as things are getting nastier here. That is pretty annoying my friend, and I hate it. And it shows why envy and jealousy in Greek are one word, the latter.

 

Trust me the real ones do cause a riot. But heck, come down and we will take the back roads with the real ones (assuming we still have them!)

Glad to see you got your ride out for a spin. The sound of the EP is worth every cent. Going to take mine out for a little listen here in about 15 minutes. Sad that you can't enjoy your car without worries of riots. Hope things get better there.

 

Well...everybody loves his wife and likes his girlfriend...Trouble is to choose between them...997TT or M3?

 

Yes skand that one is a problem....how to hold on to a good catch etc. So if girlfriend prefers the M3?....no problem. M3 is a great car anyway, so no suffering leaving tt parked for that time.

 

I know Madsex likes the BM's for less attention now but didn't know skand had one to stay low too. But with all the trouble there i understand you will need a car with less presence, especially depending where you are driving. I wasn't kidding with the photo....i was there last oct. Best to show toys for now, not real ones.
