Black on Black 2012 997 TT attacked by Sharks!
I get such a kick at of meeting new 6speeder's that I've conversed with and in person- you have to hand it to this place
Hence, this black on black 2012 997 TT came in (thanks for driving!) from SoCal for a Friday dish of the day that included our Shark Werks exhaust system and the EVOMSit software for more power. No more vacuum-like sound either!
On the lift she goes, lights etc... removed and the bumper cover can come off:

There's the quiet factory muffler:

Off she comes:

On goes the Shark Werks exhaust to the factory mount locations and mated to the stock catalysts:

The stock tips are also re-used:

Meanwhile, we're benchflashing the ECU with a newly tuned EVOMSit performance file:

And ready to go home down to Southern California:

A video demo of our system:

I just got home! Thanks sharky!
Awesome drive, took my newly tuned and sweet sounding ride down the longer but more scenic way - Hwy 1 following the coast from norcal through the twisties for the 66 mile stretch of Big Sur, down to Santa Barbara, etc. Only bummer was running out of sunlight couple hours before I got home.
Exhaust sound - videos don't do it justice. Hearing the sound live is 2x as good. My takes from only 6-7 hours of driving:
Sharkwerks exhaust - very nice deep growl and tone, loud enough for me but like the tone the best. Haven't opened it up to Wot yet but love it! Windows up cabin noise is little more noise than stock but that's exactly how I like it - otherwise with windows up able to listen to news talk shows or jam with my ipod just fine. Windows down or windows + sunroof open - pure awesome! Pretty sure this thing is going to make me use my traffic school freebie because I'm burst passing people just to hear the exhaust roar.
Evomsit flash with stage2 whatever tuned to match the exhaust - ok, I must be a wimp because this thing has me still easing into it. Totally fantastic - worth every penny, but easing into it as I adjust my driving style based on the improved response and much faster to max boost response.
The slight timber change to exhaust sound at idle with stock in normal vs. sport is more magnified with the evomsit flash installed - not a huge amount, but can hear the timber change lot easier.
The big change seems to be responsiveness to pedal travel, much faster spin up of boost, and faster rate of climb of boost from start all the way to max boost so fast I'm having to learn how to kind of ease into it when I dpn't necessarily want to go to full boost all the time.
I didnt do much sport mode on my way back to socal - the regular mode was way fun enough for now. In regular mode - definitely adds more grunt torque and feel of power; I don't really know how to articulate how much but easily registered on the trusty butt-dyno.
Most noticeable for me based on my driving style like I said is even a small amount of push travel of the pedal if I press fast gets the boost to spin up very quick goes right to max a lot faster than before flash. That's what I mean about being bit wimpy right now - I did a couple hair raising passes of slower cars in front of me that I didnt anticipate how much overtake speed I'd build up so quick and thud-thud of the stronger shift pressure.
Think I did this the right way - stayed stock ~4k miles to get through break through and really get familiar with stock feel. Makes me appreciate the improvement much more. Except the exhaust - next time, I'm going from dealer to sharkwerks immediately.

Really have no ambition for additional power mods but thinking next will be set of techart lowering springs.
For most part, I like the stock suspension just fine - especially since I'm in LA, not exactly glass smooth roads everywhere. But maybe tweak suspension a little. Doing some research.
