DME report
Ha, helpful. Never owned a car outside of its original factory warranty so never needed to buy an aftermarket warranty. Not 100% sure what would cross the line for an extended warranty just not being an option.
Passed on that one.
Found an 09 CPO (until 2015) with 17k miles. Of the three colors I would accept, its the lowest and the leather is the ugly wringled leather (what option gets you that leather), but its only 89k, probably could get them down to 87-88k. Seems way under market and a smart buy.
Thoughts?

Ok, found the one I think, just have a very odd DME report, but the PPI came back clean. Can I assume that something was glitched on the DME when it recorded the overrev
Range 1 655
Range 2 55
Range 3 1
Range 4 1
Range 5 1
Range 6 1 - 42 hours.

you should try finding a car with zero over revs above range 3...and of course dont even look a car with range 6 over rev...(even if its only 1 spark)...imagine that the engine somehow was rotated over 9krpm!!! even for 1 spark...so we are talking about a major downshift error...

Car's running great
Has to be error - to go from 6800 to range 6 of 9000 there would be more than 1 rpm and there are 3 ignitions for every 1 revolution. 1 ignition = 1/3 revolution - can't get from 6800 to 9000 with 1/3 revolution.
Na, its porsche's money as they CPOed the car despite the dme report.
