I would like a more aggressive & melodious sound from my 997tt.Had Fabspeed on my Carrera S & it was O.K. But I feel the Turbo desverves a little something more. Any suggestions would be most appericated. Thanks

Kuma the 997.2 Turbo is much quieter than the Gen. 1 997 Turbo. The Supersport 70mm X-Pipe that we manufacture will provide a deeper and throatier tone compared to the Maxflo Mufflers. This Supersport exhaust system includes 200 cell HJS sportcats, or you can reuse your stock catalysts but the sound will be a mild increase compared to stock. Here are two videos of both the Maxflo Mufflers and the Supersport X-Pipe, both have the 200 cell HJS sportcats installed.

We've got two version of the Tubi exhaust available for your car kuma...

Both systems are in stock and available to ship. Feel free to call, or check here:
http://www.championmotorsport.com/Se...ts.asp?Cat=209

The "Street" system includes 200 cel high-flow cats, 100% hand-made in Italy, stainless steel...etc.

The "Race" version includes cat bypass bypass pipes for a more aggressive sound.

SuperSprint's full 70mm race system. Along with their 310SS headers, this system produces the most power on a 997.2TT with over 50whp with a catted system - no tune. These systems are all hand-made in Italy in a TUV certified factory.

For a full detailed thread along with R&D step by step pictures, read the following thread:

I went with Fabspeed back in November (2011). I went with the following setup:<O</O

Fabspeed 70mm supersport X-pipe with cats and tips<O</O
Fabspeed 997TT carbon fiber air intake system<O</O
ECU upgrade (EVOMSit)<O</O
Boost recirculation valve(EVOMSit)
<O</O
<O</O
When I tell you that I couldn't be happier, that is an understatement. The sound is absolutely incredible. It is just the perfect amount of "aggressive" (really deep and throaty) as I (in my personal opinion) would want....so as to not be too loud like a track car while tooling around neighborhoods (again, this is for my personal needs....everyone is different)<O></O>
I opted to do the air intake and tuning (EVO) while I was at it in order to get the extra HP.<O></O>
Again, I wish I did this 3 years ago when I bought the car. It has the perfect balance of everything for me!! Whatever you decide, enjoy!<O</O

I posted a link to a video in another post I made of a stock 997.1tt vs a Europipe 1 997.1tt side by side in the same video... Just to give everyone a better idea of what sort of improvement to expect...

Hope it will be of use to you...
