996tt to 997tt

Im currently in a 2003 996tt but want to get into a 997tt.

The 996tt has common issues like:
-2nd gear pop out
-rear spoiler crapping out
-clutch accumulator/slave cylinder going bad

Are these issues common in the 997tt? Are there other issues that are common to the 997tt? Thanks for you help

did a search and found that the clutch accumulator/slave cylinder can be an issue on the 997tt. Also found that the wing can also get stuck. How about the 2nd gear pop out?

No issues on my 997 Turbo so far. Besides rads replaced under warranty. Huge improvement to the 996 Turbo and still got the Mezger.

I think you are nitpicking. The 997.1 Turbo is one of the most reliable super cars out there.

Same as your 996tt your rear tires need to be replaced often. I'm still trying to figure this out and my dealer can't seem to pinpoint the issue
