Here is yesterdays photo shoot, graffiti background inspired by the master, Showking, however in point and shoot kinda way, no photographic skills here!

New mods include H&R Springs, GT3 Smile, black vinyl stone guards, and interior led lighs (dome & footwells)... And not in this pic, daytime running lights (conversion from factory with led replacement - Thanks for the hard work Skand, the result is spectacular).
Still waiting for the flat black hood crest which was sent back to be replaced...

The stock wheels actually look good black, I'm surprised. Are you running spacers? Is the vent on the bumper a vanity or a GT3 inspired bumper? Where'd you get the tail lights?

Everything looks good, I'm just trying to decide which direction I want to go with mine.

 

Yes for spacers. 16mm rears, they are a derivative from something bigger, so not a standard size. However, H&R makes 15mm rears and 7mm fronts, which sounds just about perfect imho. Look at the pic before the lowering and after on my driveway. I think the 15mm looks perfect after lowering, looked a bit much before...

The vent is a vanity, just a cutout jobie. I dont think it can be functional on a turbo... Lacks the structure below it.

 

Cool, thanks. Where'd you get the tail lights, or were they LED when you got them? Mines an 07 and doesn't have them, but maybe the US market was behind?

I like the OEM+ look, I think I'm going to go that route. Car looks great.

Trust, these are dectane lights. They are sold in Europe as well as the US, there have been several posts about them on this forum as well. A quick search will lead you to a bunch of threads and a few distributors. They look like the 997.2, but are shaped in the 997.1 rear light, so no modification is required. They do have a strange brake pattern, a C shape that faces out instead of inwards like the 997.2.

Great photos Nick...Front vent can be functional in a turbo...it just needs some extra parts...we will speak soon...

 

And the final mod is done and installed! Blacked out hood emblem.
I am content now... Will take a break for a weeeee bit.

Pretty good thing with those lights! We got a long time friend and customer who could use these. How much did these cost you in the end?

 

I am located in Europe, got them direct from Dectane, in Germany. There are a few importers in the US but I dont have details. Do a search for Dectane and lots will come up.

Still my favorite wheels... at some stage will get some! What are the weights in 19s?
