So I just picked up a 09 Turbo recently, it currently has a GIAC tune, Switzer Exhuast with HF Cats, BMC panel filter and PSS10's.

My end goal is to have the car in the 800-900whp range on E85 or 93. What I would like to know from you guys is what you think should be the next round of upgrades to get me closer to that goal but keeping it around $7-8K budget for parts only.

I spoke with Todd at Protomotive via email and he suggested I started with 80# injectors and a new tune for E85 and push what I have to around 550whp/650wtq.

What do you all suggest?

You could piecemeal things together and make small jumps up, or make the jump to light speed all at once. The former is probably more expensive than the latter.

RAC3ME, nice seeing your new 09 TT purchase this past Sat morning at the car meet. My only advice if you're doing it one step at a time, is to have your full roadmap planned out so you'll still be happy with it after piecing the mods together, and they are all designed to compliment each other well.

Also reach out to VENKATREDDYTX here on 6spd. He has an 08 TT monster that's been built by Protomotive, and he lives in the Dallas area.

Agreed. If you upgrade to 550whp/650tq, it's not like you can use those for 800-900 whp. Big difference in cost but you could recoup some of that by selling unwanted/needed parts.

Do you still have the stock clutch? If yes, you need to change that first!

Quote: All in all, you would save over $5K going straight for your goal.
Go straight to big power, use the $5K savings for speeding tickets.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I think I'm leaning towards just saving up and doing it all in one hit. Perone, I would be interested in your kit but you are in Rome. Not sure I want to deal with international shipping. Thanks though.

Keep the suggestions coming though!
