When I plugged in my laptop to my 997.1TT and double clicked the tuned file for upload - the upload happened in about 1:30 not the same 5 minutes it took me to download the file and send it to Softronic. The progress bar was slowly incrementing and it was quickly reading off the bytes however it appeared to be roughly 10% done and then the line just quickly sped to the end and it said done. Does this sound correct? The car starts - I just don't want to drive it if it didn't take correctly. Anyone give me some direct feedback on how their update happened please.

 

Sounds fine - generally the download is much longer (downloads all maps) than the "install" which updates a subset of the maps.

 

Was it worth. Noticeable differences? Better performance? Your opioid would greatly appreciate,

My instructions said the same, but the upload took a fraction of the time.. if it finishes and your car starts fine then I think you're ok.

 

From what youre saying you should have no issues at all. We do softronic installs regularly and they vary in up/down load times.

Did mine a couple days ago. Upload was about 3 minutes, very fast. If it starts, you're good. Go drive it and smile! Put it in sport mode!

 

Just DRIVE IT and you will see......
