Porsche Graphics

I know this has been talked about and it's a personal thing. But what do you think of it on a 997.1 GT silver Turbo. I was thinking Black, Black Matte, since vents, are black........I just want to freshen the look or does it take away the lines or make it too busy? I really don't want a loud look, just a subtle. thoughts....

IMO...it would take away from it some. It's a Porsche turbo and already has a unique style/lines. I like the look of stickers on the GT3RS but not other models. I'd throw some leds on there to freshen the look.

I think it looks out of place on a Turbo. Honestly I don't care for them much on the GT3's as well but its growing on me. Im my opinion putting them on a turbo makes you look like a wannabe ,but at the same time I like a GT2RS wing on a turbo! Its very subjective but I say do what looks good to you and go for it. I know I'm not much help lol

It's a personal taste, it's just stickers, if you don't like it, you can always rip it off.

Is there such a thing as a "subtle" checkered pattern? Kidding aside, obviously this is a personal preference (no right or wrong), but a strong no vote from me. To my eyes these Porsche checkered stickers look silly even on the GT3 RS. It is cartoonist more than anything else and my preferred GT3 RS would most definitely be single color, no sticker.

Every morning when I walk up to the Turbo, I enjoy very much looking at the form and the curvaceous lines; nothing more is necessary for this timeless design IMHO. But again, "personal preference" so if you decide to get it, enjoy!

cheapens the look IMO. Fine if its factory installed I suppose a la GT3 RS, but dont add it. Spend the money on other cosmetic parts. I simply added OZ rims, GT2 sideskirts and Techart tips to freshen the look of my 997.1 Turbo.

Thanks for the feedback and opinions; I agree with the pros and cons from each of you and appreciate the inputs. Whats nice is this is not a permanent fixture, so it can be taken off without any significant issues.

my two cents? waaay too busy on the Turbo - there is already enough going on with all the swoops, holes and vents and wheels

This is what I did with mine. I have received lots of compliments. I mainly did it to protect the sills and the rear fenders...the sticker I made covers all the way through the top, but is is finished in the same color as the car so you can't tell...acts like a hell of clear bra...LOL.

I say if you are going to do one, do one specifically to your car. There are tons of 911s around here...I definitely wanted something to help it stand out. I personally thought it help tie in the black on the hood, black wheels and tinted taillights.

I am sure this is not everyone's cup of tea...but, like others said also, if after you put it on, you don't like it, peel it off and carry on.

some stickers can look really amazing and then some can be way way over the top. But like with everything else its a personal choice and I like the Black silver/gray combos.
