Potential loss of power, depending on setup.

I assume you are going with a tune as well? You are definitely going to notice a loss of power down low.

It is going to be LOUD...period. As a daily driver...I don't know. I run dumps on mine (about the same level of sound as straight pipes). There would be no way in heck I would drive my car daily...LOL

I'm getting your 750-kit on hold I will just stick with your exhaust.

Not sure if you read Tial's comments:

"it's only bad if the turbos go into a surge condition because of it

turbo cars: less back pressure = better"

It's not made for everybody. I like loud cars, it sounds like a weed whacker below 3k rpms but the sound after 3k rpms more than makes up for the ugly noises. I love it.

P.S. make sure you are prepared for your first cold start, it will sound like a bomb exploded and will probably have the fire department at your house

Just came across this thread... Sorry I dont have notifications setup for tag word "Vivid". I guess I should.

Turbo cars do not need any back pressure. A straight out the exhaust side of the turbo is happy as can be for it. Whether you have stock VTG or big Garretts, you are simply uncorking the cork. The cons is loud. Thats the only con ever. You will not and cannot lose power with these. Because of the removal of the factory cats, this is classified as a "race" part and will require an ECU flash to raise the limits of the 2nd O2 sensors so you dont have a code. The turbos will spool quicker from the high flow setup and then make more power mid to top end... period.

Of course anyone wants you to buy theirs cause its better. But the fact is fact here. These are the same pipes that we built and rocketed our stock engine GT3076 setup to 206.2mph at the Texas Mile.

Very confused what about the Surging and loss of low end power from two "highly" reputable companies (Switzer-Ruf)?
