Just some work on the front Hertz midbass woofers...it'll get tidied up some more but trying to get as much punch from them with proper baffling as possible. The OEM stock front subwoofer will still be utilized in cojunction with a rear JL 13TW5.

C2Design @ work on the exhaust tip placement for the GT2RS bumper...a lot of work to get this to work...not really a bolt on swap and paint job. Heck...nothing is ever easy on these builds...always a curve ball or a decision to settle with a shortcut to get done quicker or take the longer route to get to the proper look, sound, and/or performance. So do it right or don't do it at all...it'll end up costing more in the end if we go half assed.

Looks cool. The only thing I don't dig is the rear spoiler, a techart one would look better IMHO.

You know, it's builds and the craftmenship like this that has raised the bar so much that people like us living in KY has to suffer and put up with average quality

No matter how good a shop is, in order to accomplish this quality, the owner has to be there or else one would compromise.

I agree with Chris, Techart spoiler would have looked waaaay better but what do we know

I personally prefer custom but subtle changes where you look at the car and can't figure out what's different about it and say to yourself, why the heck can I not take my eyes off this car etc.

I looked at the Techart spoiler(s)...while really nice...they just didn't move me. I think once we shear off the ends of the rear wing base support it will look better. The way it is now the lines of the base and the lines of the Werks spoiler aren't compatible with each other and screws with the flow.

I'll hold judgement until we button down the rear bumper and new spoiler combination...

You have the cleanest, most complete builds. Simply done right. Can't wait to see the final product.

Getting ready for paint...any minor gap issues will be fixed and be proper...not doing all this work and letting a gap line annoy the crap out of me.

The size and the position (blue tape) of the tail pipes looks spot on..
The side view of the rear bumper shows how perfect the alignment of the bumper is to the fender/trunk. The attention to detail is great and not every one has it.

Thanks...after paint there still needs some small adjustments to the left exhaust tip that we all agreed that would make it truly spot on. I also think having the very bottom of the bumper converted to CF will complete the look...just to balance out the CF in the front (front lip/bumper girl), side (just bottom of side mirrors), and now the back (bottom portion of rear bumper, exhaust bezel, and rear wing).

Just enough CF...anymore and that would be too much. We could have gone all CF on the side mirrors, front hood, and the whole bottom of the rear bumper but there is overkill. Its a fine line we TRY not to cross...maybe not always successful but we at least are cognizant of it.

Stopped by the upholsterer shop today...took some progress pics. Between the new red leather and color matched dye, we will remedy any color differences in materials.

The new leather is so much softer and luxurious than the OE leather...All carpet will be replaced with the new leather. We will have a rear seat delete...similar to the 993tt build. The center console area will get wrapped and color matched dyed (for the hard plastic pieces)...

Pic of front subwoofer enclosure that was recovered in new leather...we will retain the front sub because it actually creates good mid bass up front. Like I said the front carpet will be replaced with leather. The front of the dash and A pillars will be wrapped in new leather...the mid to back portion of the dash will be color matched dyed. A custom front mats will be made too...

The door panel..."L" will be recovered in leather..."D" will be color matched dyed (areas of hard plastic)..."C" are carbon fiber (door handle, door latch, ABS logo, and top of door panel storage bin.

Front fuse box cover re-wrapped...

Rear side panels...and rear seat delete with the front of the sub enclosure showing...(the CF bezel for the sub port and the bottom of the enclosure is shown)

New floor panels coming together...

Rear bumper bottom CF portion...not fully finished or polished...we are waiting for the bodywork to get painted.

Some pics sent from Chris@C2Design...the new CF work is beautiful...not even polished yet. It's a tighter weave CF...I think once put together it'll be sweet. The rear bumper with CF is done and Chris says it is very well done...more pics to come.
