TTCab BC Road trip
Seems quite a few members in Western Canada........
Continuing on a road trip tomorrow so looking for a little advice. Booked stops are Whistler on Saturday evening and Oliver for some vineyard stuff on Monday. I will enter BC via the 1 about 2 p.m. tomorrow but from there have a bit of leeway looking for interesting roads or interesting spots to stop.
Any and all ideas appreciated
TIA
Simon

If you continue on to the Island, there will be a PCA monthly meeting at Francelli's at 9am Sunday in the Royal Oak strip mall followed by a nice little run to Port Renfrew. A nice little scoot through the twisties with beautiful scenery the whole way, not to mention the conversations with other like minds.
Sea to sky is one of the most beautiful drives in the world (IMHO)... but 4 weeks ago there was an irate officer that pulled aside and had towed 4 P-cars for "speeding" on the sea to sky. Yup, here in B.C. 40km/h over the limit and you get towed!.
They were part of a Porsche breakfast run we do here every month or so. The incident made the papers and got sensationalized by the press as young hooligans - ridiculous!!!
It was a bunch of mid 40 year old guys, enjoying their cars, and honestly not even pushing them hard.
Any way I digress...
So keep an eye out if you don't have a detector/jammer. They are patrolling that stretch with force.

Thanks for the heads up. Lots of K band through the interior. Kamloops to lillouet and on to whistler this morning. Hopefully nobody with a "hate" on for pcars. Escort and shifter always on though.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Went via the 97 then the 99. Virtually no cars, only one guy pulling a boat but did he ever know the road. He led me through all the two lane stuff and thankfully no police, for much of the time we were well over posted limits. I think I sprained my face with all the grinning.
Have done this route on two wheels a couple of times, much more fun this time.
Sea to sky tomorrow and down to Oliver.
