Opinion on a "used" turbo

I have been thinking of trading in my C2S after riding and driving my friends 2007 Turbo. The acceleration is adictive and I like the idea of AWD.
I found this close to me, love the color and interior, but put off by the very low miles. How can a 6-7 year old car have only 2000 miles? I thought the price is a little high compared to others, most likley due to the miles.
My thought is that most don't want something this flashy and that this may be the reason it has been sitting around. So possibly offer lower, what do you think would be a good deal.

nice looking car. I just bought my first turbo a few days ago, being relatively new to 997 turbos I have to plead a little ignorance but what exactly is a "997 Twin Turbo GT3"? I thought GT3s were all NA and by the looks of this car it is not a GT2 (which is a TT). So is it a 997 TT with a GT3 kit?
IMO, unless you must have this color combo I would pass. You can get a 2007-2008 997 TT in great condition with an extended warranty, 15K-30K miles for about $75-$85K give or take. and with the money you save you can mod it in any which way you choose
Just my 2 cents, I'm sure the veteran members will be able to give you a better perspective
good luck, the hunt is part of the fun!

There was another (stated as 2 of 2 in Orange) '07 911 Turbo in the sale thread a few months back. Don't know if it's still for sale it had like close to 30k miles and tons of mods.
The price on this is pretty high on this one and the low miles are the reason. This is a unique color and if you are conflicted on the color (it does look amazing, but screams for attention) consider something else. As aa909 said you'll easily find 20k-30k miles for way less.
Good luck in your search. Consider traveling if you can't find something close, sometimes the best deals may require a bit of travel.

If you are truly looking to get into tracking a car consider the GT3 (RS, RSR, etc.). The Turbo is a great car but to make it fun on the track requires a lot of work. I have done major work to mine and it is one hell of a fun on the track, but as I said it takes quite a bit of work.

It is my favorite color and that is a stunning car. It sure is not subtle though.
but the color is just insane, absolutely love it. showed my 4 year old son the pics of this car and he was all "dad you should have gotten this one, it's so much cooler"

told the wife we've got another car nut in the making, it's genetic I tell you
I seriously thought about buying an orange '07 TT last year ( probably this one) but orange and yellow are two very strong colors for some one who wants to keep a relatively low profile
I eventaully went with a white color and couldn't be happier with my decission.
