I am trying to get an idea on fair pricing. I see prices everywhere from 11x to 15x. I know options can range greatly but where is the real market for these cars?

 

Ever car is a unique situation and it depends on the options, color and condition as you might expect.

I haven't seen one here in awhile let alone sold one but if you can get one you're in for one hell of a wild ride!

I would say 110 to 120 right now. All the gt2's above that arn't really moving. Just be patient you will find one.

 

A tough problem facing prospective owners - finding an unmolested GT2. Unless you are looking for something that has been modified correctly (and tastefully,) sometimes it's a tough job finding one that suits your needs.

 

There's been alot of talk lately here and other forums about how many exactly were produced?

Figures range from 600 - 1200 units world wide.

If on the low side (600's) then it might be worth a small fortune in few years time. Yet if it was on the higher side (1200+), then I would assume their value may continue to drop, as it has been throughout 2011, 2012. So!! patience may pay, and by next year one can see more discounts !?

If we go by mileage alone, and talking about low mile examples...I would say prices range from $100 for above 20k+ miles car, to $140 for like-new ones (less than 500 miles)!!

I just received more than that on trade in. And several dealers offered me more. So I don't think it will be easy to find a clean one in that range. GL

BTW, 180 US GT2 sold in 2008. 25 more in 2009
