2005 Turbo S Brakes

I've got a 2005 911 TurboS with the ceramic brakes. Just purchsed a few months ago, used. Had it all looked over prior to purchase and was told all is well. The car only has about 50k miles on it, so clearly hasnt been driven a ton.

Recently, the brakes have started to squeak, and its actually gotten noticeably worse over the past few days (like to the point that its embarassing to drive). Only happens when they start to heat up..ie in stop and go traffic

The car still stops on a dime, seems to be coming more from the rear than front, and it sounds like there is a constant squeak on the right rear...almost like the pad is toast or the caliper is stuck.

I've read that its good to try and spray out the rotors, go out and get the brakes really hot then slam on them a few times...

Suggestions?

+1, try that. They are notorious for squeak.

Same problem on my 07 tt. As long as I wash my car weekly and clean the wheels a rotors I get no squeaks but if I go long than a week the squeaks are back. I have tried re-bedding the pad and still have the issue.

I had xtreme squeaking after a track day. Glazed pads. Sanded down the pads a bit.

Mine squak at times when warm as well - that is after the track day. Not sure about the stock pads... What are the best aftermarket pads for PCCB?

I have seen many posts like this and have yet to see a perfect solution. A lot of times it seems owners would try multiple things and the squeak goes away and then comes back.

It is considered a "normal finding" so dealer will not fix it. What is disturbing is that if it's a normal finding, why some car with PCCB never squeaks (like mine, so far) and some squeaks like a 20 year old school bus?

I think once the pads experience a proper heat cycle (trackday) they will always squeak a bit. I you got a super loud squeak going the pads are glazed and need to be sanded down. I think the stock pads are just no good.

I thing you just burned the glue on the sound pads! Buy new ones and replace them. If the brake pads have over 50% rear, replace them as well.
