Need some advice please.

I took my car to a dyno for the first time today and for some reason the car would not go over 1bar of boost and that is in sport mode!

On the way there the car was hitting it's usual 1.2bar in sport mode(possibly more as the cars boost guage only reads upto 1.2bar)

I am baffed and would like some feedback on this matter if possible to see what would cause this!

Was it heat soaked? Was this a 2 wheel or 4 wheel dyno?

4 wheel dyno and we cooled it down.

The only thing I can think of is if the front/rear calibration on the dyno is not perfect (the turbo has a very tight tolerance regarding front/rear), the car may be pulling timing/boost as it sees a difference between the front and rear wheels.

One way to check is to disconnect the front wheel drive shaft and run the numbers as a 2 wheel drive car. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. This is a tough one.

Which dyno did you put the car on?

Do you have datalog from the dyno run?

It was a dastek awd dyno and I have a graph which I can post later.

There is a special tool for measuring the car on several type dynos.

Its called Dyno-Box.

Maybe you need that on the dastek Dyno. You need to check.
