Did you check the voltage on the maf before getting new ones?

I have the same codes, although mine read as too rich and it only happens on idle.

I had catless at the time this was happening. I changed the MAF's it was still happening, I did not bother to check voltages as they were very old anyway. I recently fitted 200cell cats and put new pre cat and post cat sensors as they were 7 years old too. Problem has not come back since.

Just to follow up. In my case, I checked the voltages of the MAFs and they were out of range on both key in (but car off) and while car is warmed up and idling.

I went ahead and took out the MAFs and thoroughly cleaned them with MAF cleaner purchased from the local auto parts store. I let dry and tested the car an hour later.

Before, even when resetting the code, they would come back after 10 miles of driving.

I've put on over 100 miles and the codes haven't come back. The car idles and drives better during partial throttle than before the cleaning. Seems like the issue is fixed.

bottom line: Give the mafs a good cleaning before you consider buying new ones. It's a quick 15 min job if you buy the proper t25 torx plus bit.

The cleaning worked for me, for the op it was the o2's. The takeaway is to troubleshoot before buying any replacement parts.

Hope this helps anyone else with similar codes.
