How much should I pay for a 2008 TT coupe?
Hi Guys, looking to trade in my 2008 Carrera 4S Cab for a 2008 Coupe. My car has 20k miles on it. I am looking for a turbo with similar mileage. Any idea on what I should expect to pay?
CPO? I've seen them closer to 90. Closer to Spring, prices will go up. Not many 08s around - unless you want a tip cab. More 07 coupes around. CPO 07 coupes are listed about 80. Cars dot com seems to have the most listings.
I don't know if there is any difference between an 07 and 08 but you'll find very well optioned 6 speed 2007s with low miles for ~$80k. Hands down the best, most fun car I've ever driven.
I found this 08 for $78,500 http://www.paulmillerporsche.com/pre...98S783521.html but not too crazy about the color. Also they lowballed me on the trade in and only went down a grand on the turbo. I didn't bother to go any further since it wasn't THE car.
Im curious to know how much negotiating room there is on these things. Considering how low they pay on trade-ins seems like they mark up by 10-15k.

'09's have the updated PCM. Also have the cool newer option of ventilated seats - although that is not available on the sport seats. They also did away with the nav box in the front making the space slightly bigger in the trunk. Also has bluetooth and ipod options frequently added on the cars. Also - generally adds about $10k to the shopping price!
Looks like I have a lot of studying to do on the turbo. That car looked pretty good to me if it weren't for the fact that its yellow.
Mind taking a look at this one for me: http://www.classicmotorsports.us/200..._172145331.veh
I also inquired about this 08 for $81,300: http://www.audiwilmingtonde.com/used...ec78cefeed.htm
and this 09 cab for 100k http://www.conshohockenporsche.com/p...info.php?VHR=1

There seems to be some deals out there. I used www.cargurus.com to find mine. I like how it tracks pricing and time on the market.
Every car has its odd hidden issues. The '09 in Basalt looks nice with low miles and about on target at $92. Note that the carfax ends in March of last year. What happened to it since then? Pretty weird.
The '08 is really beautifully equipped with the deviated stitching. Note that the last owner only owned the car for a few months. All that Alcantara in the car is not available from the factory so it was all added. The car is way cheap for the mileage. I would sense something fishy. Really important to see the DME and do an inspection on that car. It could as well be tuned and need a clutch or worse.
The '09 in PA is not a cab. You pay a mint for an old car with no miles. Big diff between $80k and $100k. What are you shopping for?
You can tell from these listings. The best cars will be P dealer cars. Next will be dealers like the Audi dealer. Next down the list will be "Classic Motor Sports". Private parties can often have the best cars, but no trade ins and no financing - except that you arrange yourself. Good luck and do a little searching, you'll find a wealth of info. Check out Cannga's buyer's guide thread.

I absolutely love this 2010 White PDK turbo: http://north-olmsted.porschedealer.c...52500/info.php
Unfortunately no Sports Chrono. I know on a 997.1 it can be added by Porsche dealer without the dash wart. Is it possible to do the same on a 997.2?

Personally, disclaimer: I'm no expert, I think that once the 991 turbo debuts the 997.2 will depreciate a little more and be closer .1 prices. The problem is the wait but I think either way you will be extremely satisfied. I love my 08 turbo and would only trade it for a .2 for the PDK.
