Turbo S Pre-buy Inspection Today--What Additional Work Should I Request?

Greetings All:
I have just purchased a 911 Turbo S. It goes to a Porsche dealer several states away today for the pre-buy inspection. Other than the usual items the dealer will inspect, what other work should I request be done? It’s a 2011 coupe with 1,800 miles. Many thanks.

Guess it isn't CPO? You say "purchased" but you getting a pre-buy (PPI) after the fact? Should be the other way around. Probably should get oil changed - 2 years old with only 1800 miles. Check tire wear for any uneven wear - this new there's not much to check.

"Purchase" was a sloppy choice of words. I have it under contract. The contract has a contingency that the pre-buy inspection must be satisfactory before funds change hands.

Why you need a PPI with only 2 years old and 1800 miles? It's still under original factory wanrranty.

Because the car can have issues due to accident damage, misuse, neglect, or abuse that are not covered by the warranty.

Any other work/service that is due if not on miles on time unless you have paper work or are confident the work was done and is not due to be done now or shortly.

Oil/filter, brake fluid flush/bleed are two that come to mind.

Also, any issues the inspection finds should be dealt with. For example any fluid leaks. I mean the car is essentially a new car and thus can have new car problems now or as you drive the car.

I just picked an '11 Turbo S up a couple months ago...not CPO, honestly the only thing to really take a look at is how the car was cared for. Mine had more miles, so the clear bra over the whole car was removed and I had a new one put on after inspection. Car was perfect, shocking for a black car to be so clean. The amount of "gentle use" that is acceptable to you personally is subjective, but my guess normal wear and tear on a 1800 mile car is going to be nearly show-room clean. Anyway, you'll love the car...good luck with your purchase.
