10 second club!!

Very excited! Tonight i took my car to the 1/4 track for some fun runs, i figured you guys would love to see.

55 Degrees
Michelin Pilot Super Sports (235/19, 305/19)
GT3RS Wheels
APR FLASH (100 Octane)
FVD Exhaust 200 cell cats
Fabspeed headers
74mm IPD Plenum
Stock intake box
Stock Ypipe

And the results...I was only able to run 4 times before i was told i can not get back on the track until i have a roll cage. At least i know what my next modification will be. Each run i improved on the launch...i was pretty happy with the results of a 3k clutch slip. My last run is on the time slip i posted. Definitely room for improvement!

Nice runs! I hope to get my car back in the next couple of weeks and out to see what she can do (after a little break-in period). I had a cage put in while she was under the knife...

Welcome aboard : )
Feels good to Drive it rite?

Do a GT2 Slave cylinder conversion. Alittle more RPM on the launch and those 60's will drop big time.

I have a GT2 slave already. I definitely felt like she had plenty more play room. However the track told me I could not run anymore until I had a roll cage.

Next modification -> Roll cage!

great time and good driving...lets see you crack into mid tens with this set-up and good tires.. Practice launching at higher rpms and you'll see some good results

What was your MPH and how were you launching the car?

Thumbs up My Drag time

My tune is limited to 8 PSI launch (Brake Boost).

I cant seem to attach my drag slip on this thread so here are my timings:

60ft: 1.705
330ft: 4.747
1/8 mile: 7.242
KPH: 159.44
990ft: 9.373
1/4 mile: 11.177
KPH: 200.71

From what I see we are are about the same with minor differences up to 1000ft. I managed to end my run at 200Km/h (124mp/h) while you managed to do it at around 208Km/h (129mp/h).

I think this is due to my tune, I have still not received my re-tune. My ignition timings are dramatically low on 3rd all thru 4th gear. (specifically on 180Km/h onwards)

Lemme know what you think

Note: Keep in mind I was running pump gas equivalent to 93 Ron while you were running 100 Octane, However you are a 6 speed

Ah I see now! A TIP car. Completely different style of driving on the track. I think your times and MPH look great!

Haha yeah I am a Tiptronic, My timings are alright, however I'm sure with a retune I will be able to improve that . I just hope they still have an open drag night at the drag strip before the summer heat kicks in! (Temp was around 71 degrees during my run so that also plays a role)

I think I will be able to run around a 10.7-10.8s 1/4mile with 100 Octane, If I get the chance to I will give it a try.

You are the one with great times! I'm very impressed for a 6speed

Goodluck! Enjoy!
