TPMS monitor disapeared

Hi Guys,

I need your help please. Took my car for a drive today and as I'm goin through my dashboard menu to see my tire pressure I notice its gone! Even when I try goin in the settings the TPC option is not there anymore.

Can anyone help me understand what happened and how I can fix this?

Thanks
Sam

Are you missing the TPMS menu completely or you have an alarm and the TPMS shows "--" for all the tire pressures?
Just happen to me the other day and currently all the pressures show "--". The driver rear sensor was going... now the whole system went south. Going to have the dealer check it out and hope the extended warranty kicks in for the repair.

When u figure out how to turn it back on. Please tell me how to turn it off. I have new tpms sensors in the box, forgot to put them in when I mounted the tires on the new wheels.

Not seeing any read outs from the other wheels either.
Chance of all 4 sensors go out at the same time, is slim. (My 2 cents)

If two are out nothing will read, the battery life is 5 yrs, they tend to go out at about the same time. They can be installed without dismounting the tires.

I thought that TPMS can not be disabled without pulling the control unit?

What shows on the screen, "--", that would imply batteries. A blank screen is another matter.

If one or all of the batteries are dead, wouldn't you get a 'TPMS inactive' alert? I messed up my display setup once and cursed Porsche until I found out that I accidentally changed settings...make sure you read the manual....happens to the best of us

Hi, i'm missing the menu completly... I deflated one of my tires and i got a message on the screen saying i have a flat which means the sensor in the wheel is communicating. But i still dont see the tpms menu or readings at all when i scroll through my options.

Did you try and "re learn" the sensors?

Even though the TPMS display is missing, is the option to set, change and learn still available in the submenu?

The only thing I can think of is that the gateway in the instrument cluster got reprogrammed somehow. Do you have Durametric or access to PIWIS?
