997.1 coolant leak in the news
I love Porsche but not blindly (only nearly so
) . This bad news is well deserved and I hope Porsche will be forced to reimburse all customers appropriately for this.
It has got to be one of the all time low points of German and Porsche engineering. Weakness is at a location that is also largely inaccessible and with high heat build up. Glue? What could they be thinking?
That said, I suspect all will be forgiven next time I take my baby Turbo out. LOL

Could be the start of a good thing. If enough pressure is applied by the right authorities they may have to come to the table.
Hmm....now let me think what else do i need doing when my engine comes out. Plugs again,...maybe turbos..

Fellas, if you notice up top in announcements, I left a link to NHTSA - if you had an event or prophylactically did a repair, please report it to NHTSA.
Unfortunately, I don't think they'll accept reports from overseas.
