Track guys - looking for trailer options.

You all helped me find the right lift, so I figure I'd ask for help looking for the right trailer. I want to start going further distances to try out tracks but want but to tow the car. I've had to be towed twice so far and luckily great pca members hooked me up. But going far away is a risk I don't want to take.

So, those with trailers what do you have? What do you like, don't like, wish you had done different?

Thanks

I have a closed snowmobile trailer now. I could sell and buy a bigger enclosed one but I think an open one would be more cost efficient for amount of times I would use it and yes to all those things if that's people recommend.

Salmon is infamous around these parts
I have a Featherlite 3110 and probably see more of these than anything else at track events. I've had mine for 6 years and its been great.

Tandem open trailer in aluminum is a great choice, however, a lot of circle track guys have steel ones fs all the time dirt cheap. I'd rec a winch and tire rack too.

lawrimore trailers are c channel steel trailers weighing in at 2000 lbs. dual axle, dual brake setup, breakaway, kit led lights all around and car ramps, all steel decking . 2 5/8 ball hitch and pulls as straight as an arrow. low fender kit allows the doors to open over the fenders. 2100$ picked up in al. many dealers across the country also carry these

I have a 8045 Trailex open trailer and its been great. Lightweight, easy to get parts, and been sturdy. If looking for a used one, you can also check, the Porsche boards, like Rennlist. May want to check with local car clubs, and maintenance shops. The most difficult part for me with the trailer is still backing up. Good luck.

I bought a brand new trailex last year and very happy with it. Good luck finding one used - they are few and far between. As mentioned above check Rennlist; I just saw one there for sale recently.

What is your tow vehicle? Important when choosing a trailer.
