Intermittent Beeping - Mainly on track days

Hi guys,

My car has been making an intermittent beeping noise lately during track days. It is the same beep as when it warns you of low fuel or low tire pressure. There are no dash indicators or warning lights. What could this be? I have a softtronic tune and euro pipe exhaust. Very confused. Did an extensive search online and can't find anything on the subject.

Have any of you run into this?

-mike

AZTurbo will become famous soon enough
This sounds like a ridiculous answer but could it be your speed warning? Maybe you only hit that preset speed on the track? Probably a shot in the dark.

Dig out the owners manual and look up the meanings of the warning indicators/lights.

The problem could be low coolant or low washer fluid.

Or something else.

There aren't any warning indicators lights. It happens at low speeds under heavy deceleration, so I don't think it is the MPH limit. It happened a bunch of times through the s turn at the top of the hill at the big track at Willow Springs yesterday for those of you in California.

Brake pads got enough meat?
My old c4s used to do that when the brake sensors were close, or when the brake fluid overheated.
I assume you flushed the brake fluid with hi temp fluid?

I'm running the hi-temp fluid. Good question on the brake pads, I just assumed it would give me a brake warning light. I'll have that checked.

Thanks.

Is the fluid fresh?
Or is your psm/abs kicking in?

If its only on hard braking, it's gotta be related to brakes, suspension or sensor systems.
Interesting problem, def try and get it sorted b4 your next track day, GL.
