Sway bar vs springs

Has anyone upgraded the stock sway bars (adjustable rear only or both) without upgrading the stock springs? I'm fairly content with the ride in either normal or sport mode. But I figured, the upgraded sways will give some performance benefits (decrease the understeer for example) on the track and will not affect the street ride.

Why not lowering springs also? The scraping bother me and I would hate to limit where my car can go. I'm already scraping in a few areas as it is.

Then there's also LFCA options..

sways affect the handling of the car more than springs. In other words, a stock height car with sways would out handle a lowered car with stock sways on lowered springs or coilovers.

They address different aspects of handling. If you are looking to dial out understeer, improve turn in, etc, you could consider proper alignment + stiffer/adjustable rear sways.

Appreciate everybody's input.

But no comment on the LFCA? No advantage other than adding more camber? I guess this falls under Bob's comment about proper alignment.

A stiffer rear sway will help to eliminate understeer...its a 5 minute job to install while on the other hand a front is not needed and it needs around 2 hours for installation...Personally i love lowering my cars so hr springs were installed when the car was bought...However after driving many sway/spring combos my opinion is that best handling with STOCK shocks is with just a stiffer rear sway bar...

I also run the gt3 front control arms, I easily run -1.3-1.5 up front no issue at all. I would also suggest gt3 toe links rear, "while your there".
This is what ya need:

How much are these parts and how much labor involved? Or should I start with the GT2 sways first and then decide?

Def gt2 sway first, takes ten minutes to install. That may be all you need, the other items are getting track oriented, kinda.
The parts run around 1300 from tarrret labor700-1000.
