My new track seats

Should be ready to rip next week. Added a little "turbo" to make them special may hurt resell, but gives a F

Will join a yellow AP harness bar and Schroth 6pt belts.

Where did you order them and how does it work? You get to choose the material and stitching? How about the "turbo" logo? They look awesome.

Edit: Looks like there's a configurator on the Status website, so that's probably how you got them. Very cool.

Thanks all. Status has the configurator but I worked with Anthony there to get everything right, like different cushions for 6pt vs 5pt and the custom "turbo" script. If anybody is thinking about getting personalized seats definitely talk with them. They even researched ordering the OEM leather to make them, but I figured that was going too far .

I wonder what it would cost to get matching leather. I would be very interested if they could match my sand leather seats in my car. Those probably save a lot of weight over the stockers. I'm curious to hear how they are to get in and out of.

I was quoted around $500 to order the leather, but it came in a certain size and there would have been a lot left over, maybe enough to do another set. There are some photos in the gallery of sand leather ones.

Will let you know next week, I got sliders, so hopefully that will give me room to get in easy.

Great info, thanks. Do you know if they will make the seat without the Status logo? Please keep us posted.

Those look amazing!

I ordered custom seats like that before and ended up being a huge fail as I couldn't fit in them. Too tight around my ***/hips and even my shoulders didn't clear the hug part.

Did you try the seat before?

They can make the seats anyway you want.

Liquid, I'm taking a little risk, though I did a lot of research, measured dimensions compared to my current seats, I have adaptive, so I cranked them tight. They make different sizes and went on the side of caution.

Will be at Watkins Glen for 3 days end of the month, will give a full review after.
