Hey guys,
i just got my AP wing (HUGE thanks for the hook up Showking). the wing is entirely in CF. its going to the paint shop next week to be painted basalt black, except for a 1" portion in the rear thats being left CF.

I would like to add a gt2rs full decklid and front bumper next season. ive just got two more mods this season and im done. turbos and fuel system.

btw, i havent forgotten to do my thorough write up on the car and mods.

for now here's a list.
gmg springs
gmg sways
FVD exhaust
Fabspeed headers with ceramic coating.
gt2 rs gearbox. (Long gears. best mod ive ever done. ever.)
g2rs intercoolers
E.R.P. triple carbon clutch w/ 28lb steel flywheel
Cup car LSD (taken from this seasons cup car) with reversable ramps and Guards clutch packs
Numeric Racing SSk
Numeric Racing Cables (installing this week after waterfest)
APR flash (being replaced by a custom tune from Tim with added Anti Lag Launch control)
OEM carrara orange gt3 rs wheels painted to oem gt2 color scheme.
Dectane tail lights with a painted "smoke effect"
Rottec front CF lip
and lasty, AP rear spoiler.


there was a photographer at the car show i just got back from, he took some really cool shots of my car, i'll post those whenever he gets them to me,
but here are 2 pics taken right after a quick wash for todays car show on long island. (saw some NICE p-cars there).


the final mods for this season will be turbos and fuel, (and im keeping my fingers crossed that i score a werks 1 rear diffuser for under 2k)


i am going to try and shave off about 5-8mm off the wing posts so that it sits a bit lower when its at the low position.

Looks great! I'm doing the same thing in a month. Do you have any idea how you exposed carbon fiber section? Can you post or send me close up pics after you painted?

I think I saw your car yesterday at the Martin Viette garden as I was walking out. If that was you, the car looks sick. It sounds great also.

I have the AP wing as well and I love what it did for the car. I will be adding some techart aero pieces as well.

Dont pAint it. Leave it as is. Showkings looks good bc of the contrast with white. I would leave it as is.

Im in the same boat. Trust me. If Anything, i hear there is paintable vinyl wrap. Wrap the area to be painted then go nuts. 2 yrs u get bored, remove wrap

 

In for pics later! I really like the idea of leaving just a little CF exposed. I think it would look really good on Arctic Silver.

 

yea but the wrap isnt basalt black.
