I love the E60 M5, I had an '08 space grey and loved it. I ran Tubi cans on it and it was loud..good loud of course.

Been there, done that. I recently moved to an e63 AMG but there have been many days that I have missed my e60. Had UUC/Corsa on mine and it sounded awesome!

Careful, one is from Munich and the other is from Stuttgart...they may fight! Nice looking cars

Thanks they do make a cute couple. The funny thing is i used to think the 997 was a gas hog but its nothing compared to the E60!!

Did you like the way transmission shifts in Auto mode in stop and go traffic?

This .... 180 miles till the fuel light came on but I miss my 2008 as well.

getting used to the SMG...was in stop and go traffic for 3 miles today was a little challenging.... kinda all or nothing at times. Was almost easier keeping it in 1st than the full auto. Clearly the SMG works best when you give it the beans all the time

E60's are beasts! Do yourself a huge favor and get the SMG Euro program installed asap. It will improve the SMG so much! In addition get some exhaust and a tune. I ran RPI gt cat back and loved it! I would also highly recommend a tune from Evolve. I ran an Alpha-N tune and the throttle response was so much more direct! I dynoed my car at 547 with tune, exhaust and intake. I also ran ACS springs and RD Sway bars which are a must on such a big car. Finallh the Dinan 3:91 diff was a great mod as well. Have funwith her and plan on stopping for gas twice a week.
