winter oil....

guys
i am doing an oil change on the car tomorrow. what are you guys using for winter ?
i always used 5w 40 mobil 1 for winter on my 996. my 997 is parked outside year round. (not sure if that makes a difference).

M1 0W-40 year round.

0W-40 for all temp ranges
5W-40 for temp range above -25C

Assuming you're running 0W-40 now, why would you go to 5W-40 for colder weather?

^ +1 Mobil 1 Synthetic 0W-40 is the recommended oil for these cars.

thanks guys. thats what i went with. replaced my oil with 0-40 this weekend. btw, if anyone cares, there was some sort of sale on 0-40 mobil one at autozone. i paid $70 for 9 quarts.
