Vanity Plates
Its time to put a new plate on my car and I have been thinkg of going the vanity plate route and need some ideas. I have six places. What are your ideas?

No plate yet for my 997.1TT, but the SVT Lightning p/u reads: FAT GT2 (it's rear-drive only, of course, blown 5.4V8, full Hotchkis suspension on 20" True Forged and Contis). Only P-car guys get it, which is OK too. HIPS is a great choice, BTW. Cheers, Jeff

Please don't do it. People already think that porsche drivers are vain. Why bring more unwanted attention. Everyone already knows that our cars are fantastic. Vanity plate like "2fast" "uwish" etc, just pisses people off.

Personlized plates are cool - get one ane enjoy it. It's true there will be some haters on the road - but really - those people will find a reason to be angry at anyone or anything.
I've always liked the more cryptic plates that take some effort to decipher. I'm running wth '997T' - plain and states the obvious to those that know. For anyone else it might as well be a regular plate. Not a fan of those 2FAST plates, but hey, just my opionion. The one thing I will say is that whatever you decide make sure to vet it with someone you trust...maybe us here! What looks good to you on paper may be terrible on the back of a sweet ride!

On my first Lexus I had nouwant1. I was 19. I'm sorry I thought it was really cool at the time. Looking back I would never do it again and I've found in a lot of occasions it leads to people wanting to damage your car. I had people constantly start with me. I actually got rid of them because of all the unwanted attention.
Funny story with them:
I was driving down a major street at night just driving not speeding or anything. Guy with a C5 Vette pulls up next to me paces me then just floors it rear end slides out and just rips off fifty feet slows back down to me rolls down the window and says know you want one of these. I laughed and said not really.
