Here are the 997.1 photos I received from Tom at TPC when installing mine. If you have Bose, figure 2-3 hours for removal of subwoofer and related components, installation of the sensor, wiring & testing, then reassembly.

Awesome, thanks for sharing. I don't have a Bose, but I guess I will need some help for testing my setup. Is the module visible on the CAN bus via a durametric scan?

You cannot see on durametric or PIWIS that the PASM module has been changed. It is on CAN but gives off a signal showing that it is there just as the stock PASM computer would do.

Oh sorry, I meant, is the /3-axis accelerometer/ visible on the CAN bus? I am trying to find ways to verify / troubleshoot the installation, just in case. Seeing the new accelerometer on the bus would confirm that the soldering is correct and that it can then be correctly detected by the DSC module once plugged in.

But it is also nice to know that the DSC behaves and appears like a regular PASM.

The 3-axis accelerometer is not visible when looking on durametric or PIWIS. We have not seen issues with the accelerometer not working if it is wired to the correct pin assignments. The DSC module does record faults though and in our software, we can read the faults so if you feel that something is not right, we can read the faults and see if there is something wrong or not.

We are currently working on a user friendly version of this software so that the user will be able to work on the DSC maps and also view this faults. We will be at the PRI show this week doing an official launch for DSC and other hardware, so stay tuned for more info!

Latecomer to the thread. Is the group buy still on? I don't see a way to order thru the web site - phone only or do I have to buy via a dealer?

PM sent with information on how to order. Right now we are not offering a group buy.

Well, I received my DSC module yesterday - super fast turnaround - and installed it this morning. What other cool mod can you install in 5 minutes before even finishing your morning coffee?

WOW. The improvement/difference is not at all subtle. As many others have noted, the car immediately felt more planted and stable without being jarring or jittery (as in stock PASM sport mode). I left it in mode 2 this morning but will exercise all modes in the next few days.

Thanks Harris!

Good to hear and anxious to hear your feedback after you play around with it some more.
