Modified Stock Suspension
I'm about to do some suspension work on my turbo. What does the DSC actually do? I can't find it on their website.
It turns the stock suspension into active suspension using the sensors in the car.
It also gives you a soft, med and hard setting rather than just a soft or hard.
So basically an additional setting to the PASM? I have a set of Bilstein PSS10's. Any benefit to adding the TPC module to these? Is it basically going to give me 3 settings on that as well?
Yes it will work with the Bilstein.
I don't have the module myself yet but I have been following the whole write up and not one bad thing has been said. Only positive comments. So I'm very close to pulling the trigger myself.
It replaces the PASM ecu with a much more advanced ecu.

Thank you. Without having to scroll through 18 pages of thread, do you know the price? I can't find this item on their website.
nice insalled mine a few weeks ago but havent driven the car yet because some other mods are getting done. harris was great and asked me for a picture of my stock unit before he sent me a new one. hopefully there will not be issues when i start it up. the stock settings are terrible.

I have driven my car and there is a day and night difference but I would like to drive it in the twisty bends a bit more to give some more feed back but it is very noticeable when driving over very bumpy roads in setting 1 as it soaks them up better.
I have a question about the workings (the button etc.).
In our stock TT's, you activate Sport mode by hitting a button. It stiffens the suspension and makes throttle response / boost more aggressive.
A software tune enhances that difference further (generally speaking).
I understand you go from 2 suspension settings ('standard' and 'sport') to 3 settings with a blinking led indicating which setting you're on.
How does this affect or interact with the engine / boost changes in sport vs. standard? And for those of us with a tune, will we now get that 'bump' under setting 2 and 3? Only setting 3?
Apologies if this has already been answered.

Sport button does not interfere with the suspension button anymore.
The suspension setting stays in the mode you left it in.
Solid orange light is setting 1 which is soft, orange light blinks twice is setting 2 which is medium and orange light blinking 3 times is hard setting. when it blinks it is a constant blink but it so subtle you don't even notice it flashing unless you take a look.
GTRNICK,
Thanks for the quick response. So just to confirm:
1. You still press sport button to activate the sport mode with regards to throttle / boost
2. how do you cycle between the 3 suspension settings (assuming you are using the same button)? Or are you using a different button to switch between the 3 suspension settings?
(I'm not bothered by the blinking, just trying to understand the details of how you control suspension stiffness in relation to the sport/normal driving modes).
Let me ask the question in another way:
Can I use suspension setting 2 (the middle one) AND get full Sport boost / throttle response as programmed by my tune? If so: how exactly?

All you do is cycle the settings with the suspension button and from there it will always stay in the setting you chose and sport is used for power.
Each button does not affect the other anymore.
