Will upgraded intercoolers do anything for a stock 997.1 Turbo?

From my experience, your car will feel like it's taking longer to spool.

leadville1 is infamous around these parts
Makes sense larger coolers will require more air and the spool would be slower.

Unfortunately larger coolers will not cool the air better as there is more metal to conduct heat.

What modifications are required to install these? Will you need to buy GT2RS ducts and all that?

I have never fitted these and but from memory there is a thread somewhere explaining how to fit or at least some helpful info.

I think you can buy the ducts or just make some modifications to the originals.

They are identical in size, but there is thin metal lips on each side that either need to be rolled flat, or cut off. Bending the lip over is enough to fit.
