Nose length: 997 turbo vs 996 turbo

I know that the new 991 nose is shorter than the 997, but does anyone know what the differences are between the 996 and the 997? I'm hoping the 997 turbo nose is a little shorter than the 996 turbo nose, but maybe it's the same.

Thank you, that's some great info. When I figure out what it all means, I'll post the answer for everyone.

Longer I think on the 997. I scrape the front lip down the parking ramps.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, my garage entry way is a little steep. I use these rubber ramps to get in and out. I'll probably start a thread on that subject later.

Anyways, I was just wondering if the 997 would fare any better than my old 996 as far as getting in and out of the garage.
