63.5 Turbos + Catless Exhaust = 650-700 hp?

Just tapping in to all your collective wisdom ....

Would a 63.5, Catless and Flash get me to 650-700 hp?

If not ... what would be the avg/approx hp?

Thanks in advance.

I think the stock 997.2 VTG turbos are 62 or 63mm. With exhaust intercooler plenum the GIAC/Champion car made 600 wheel on a Mustang dyno using the tune they sell. But they turned up the boost in testing and got nearly 700 wheel IIRC from Champion. This power level however is not supported because of the stress to the driveline components.

Hello,

Are you talking about wheel hp?

ECU tune
High flowing exhaust
Intercooler set
63.5mm VTG

This combo will give you 650-700 real crank hp with high octane pump fuel.

Cheers,
Emre

Curious why you're looking to go with the 63.5mm turbos. Based on my experiences, I don't think I'd do less than a 65mm if I were upgrading. We put down ~640 awhp on 91+meth with those turbos and supporting hardware.

No it would not but close to the ballpark.
Somewhere around 600 on stock fueling, up to 650 depending on the dyno and such.

The other vendor (which I have been using with great success as well as others) produce similar results with a 63.5mm to 65mm's that are on currently on the market.
We've tested both as well as competed against them and the 65s have always been a league above. I am familiar with the others that you're speaking of.

My car is getting proto 63.5's and 980cc injectors right now. I already have a kline 200cell exhaust. I'll be doing e85 as well, but I will have dyno numbers Friday or Saturday.

EPL/GIAC.

As much as I enjoy a good riddle, can you post who the two vendors are with different wheels in their 63.5 setups?

God i wish we could get E85 in Canada. Our pump octane is about as good as those cans of NOS..... The energy drink variety.

I know Proto has done the 63.5's for quite some time now. Are Protos done by Blouch?

There is a bunch. 911Tuning, Vivid, Proto, Champion etc. (Actually I don't believe champion does 63.5)

I just have no idea which place is using the better wheel that GIAC/EPL were discussing.

Fp/tial and blouch are the only two I know about. Proto uses blouch for 63.5 and 67mm. Most of the popular kits are FP afaik.

Topspeed Motorsports E85 tune with Proto 63.5 VTG's, Kline 2.5" exhaust (200 cell cats), and TSM 1150 injectors.

It spun on the first run, so had to have someone sit on the bumper for the second run.

I'm anxious to see what they'll have to do to mine then, I'll be at about 1000whp lol
