Pricing suggestions 2012 997.2 TTS cab
I've located a 991 Turbo S cab that interests me, and am seriously considering selling my 2012 997.2 Turbo S Cab ($182,000 MSRP, triple black, 9900 miles, like-new condition). I'm not interested in having both cars for an extended period of time, and would appreciate your thoughts on what price would move the car relatively quickly. Also, any idea as to what a fair trade price is from the dealer? Thanks in advance!

Manheim shows only tow sales, both in 2013, one unit with 10,000 miles sold for $131,000 and the other with 12,000 miles sold for $127,000, but that was in April and July of 2013. Auto Trader has only four cabs listed for sale, from 130K to 149K. (low miles). Good luck.
For sure. And being in the malibu area, I imagine you'll find a buyer quick. It's always convertible weather for you :-)

Might as well trade it in. I believe there are no tax benefits on trades ins (not to mention 10% sales tax! ) though.
If you decide to trade it in they will be looking at all the like cars for sale and most likely give you a wholesale number at best. You get nothing more for pristine condition since wholesale is market pricing. They will give you the lowest number they can get away with to increase their profit when they CPO the car and resell it at retail for ~ $140K.
Not exactly sure what you could get for your 997.2 but I'm just curious if you have thought about doing a couple of modifications to your car rather than buying a new one? Don't get me wrong, if you have the money then go for it...the 991 is awesome...and not everyone is into modding their cars. But a lot of people on this site are here because we like the mod our cars and the 997.2 responds very nicely to mods. A simple tune and suspension upgrade can make a huge difference and put you in front of a 991 from a performance perspective. If you get the GIAC/Champion tune, they will even provide a written piggyback warranty to go along with your factory warranty if anything were to happen.
I've decided to buy the 991 TTS Cab. In the next couple of days I will list the 997.2 TTS Cab for $118,000 firm. This should move it very quickly. I will remove the 6 month old Europipe exhaust, and sell that separately. Again, thanks for everyone's comments.

I was thinking of making a purchase on a coupe towards the end of the year, so I have been looking at prices recently and you are definately in the ball park for a quick sale. I love and hate Craigslist, but depending on your response, try listing it in Las Vegas, Phoenix and Tucson. No state sales tax for private party sales in AZ and NV. Somebody should jump on it. Good luck.
