997.2 Meth/Water injection anyone?
My car is a 997.1TT but this is what I used.
Aquamist HFS-4 (considered to be the best and the right one for DFI engines)
AIS 3 Gallon Tank (big nice looking tank.. easy to remove)
ESMotor did the installation and tuning. They have done it to 997.2TT's also.
The important thing is to choose a tuner that supports meth inj.
Emre@esmotor and Tony@epl are the right tuners to talk about this.

I've had one installed also, work done by BBI of So Calif approx. $2,000. Only difference is that BBI installed a 2 gallon tank in the front boot which takes up 1/2 of the front space and the monitor was installed in placed of the chrono on the dash.
Within one year the injector stopped working and $750 for repair, no warranty. It's been about 6 months since that repair and it's working fine so far.

We offer our TPC Racing Methanol Injection Kit and have seen great results. We have strong lines made with check valves that allow for pure methanol (M1) instead of a 50/50 mix and also help avoid corrosion and vapors being released. The system is very efficient and we have seen the inlet air temps drop to great numbers and also see nice power increases as well.

We have done the Aquamist HFS4 V3 just recently working closely with Aquamist to figure out how to properly configure and wire up their failsafe on a 997.2 Turbo. We have 997.1 and 997.2 specific kits with instructions. Here is a link to the 997.2 specific kit that includes a frunk mounted 2 gallon tank, installation manual and wiring instructions.

We got word yesterday from Howerton that they are out of stock on the current 2gal twin tanks and that they will be doing a redesign on them. We still have the Aquamist HFS3 and HFS4 kits with appropriate harnesses for a given application but the older tanks are not available anymore.

It can be done. I believe we were the first to successfully get the Aquamist HFS4-V3 installed on a 997.2 earlier this year with all fail-safes working. A few of my customers even said "XYZ Tuner said you're crazy, it's pointless to install this on a 997.2 Turbo...they said it won't work"...but we did it anyway.
We purchased the kit from Howerton Engineering, which is what I would recommend you do as well. Not only are they the authorized Aquamist distributor in the US, but Jeff is also one of the most helpful people around. He told me a few times... "no one has done this on a DI Porsche yet...good luck"..lol. But in the end he was very helpful and the kit installed perfectly and works like a charm, as you can see here:

We've worked with Jeff for many years now. Our kits have always been sourced from him and his 2gal tanks have been the most recommended by us due to their twin design with pickup and level sensor in one tank and baffle in the other to prevent sloshing etc. I am looking forward to seeing his redesigned tank eventually. His custom fabrication skills are second to none and his support has always been top notch. Richard@Aquamist has assisted us on numerous occassions in he past as well. There is no other meth kit we'd recommend to customers given the quality, functionality and support.
When using the right kit, PWM based meth injection has so many benefits that the only shops/tuners advocating against using it entirely are those with minimal to no experience with an advanced kit such as Aquamist's or those that have seen or heard of engine failures without considering it was dye to use of very basic kits, no turbine based flow sensors and appropriate failsafes.

^^ Agreed....both Jeff and Richard are top notch!!
Jeff's two gallon tank/pump setup is awesome too! It makes so installation of the pump and tanks SO much easier! I definitely recommend spending the little bit of extra money for it! Plus it makes the final install REALLY clean and I love the LED fluid level light.
(edit: sorry, I don't know why the pictures turned 90º when I upload them)
