2011 997 twin turbo 6 speed manual
I am so happy to be back to Porsches. This is my 6th Porsche. I still own my Ferrari 99 355 GTS Targa 6speed manual with 18,000 miles but will be selling it. I will post pictures soon of the 997. Just picked it up today. Porsche, there is no substitute.
Just got a 2009 (12/08 build) 997 6MT......
1st Porsche in over 17 years... nice car and am going to add E85/flex fuel, probably a Cobb tuner, new exhaust and take it from there... eventually upgrade turbos etc
did you trade in your yellow ferrari at southbay benz last night for a black porsche?? haha i was there taking delivery of our new car!

I love the 355, but it's a lot to maintain. GLWS

Im with ya 100% on getting rid of the ferrari. I always dreamt of owning an exotic ever since I was old enough to push a hot wheel around on my parents old carpet in our beat up apartment. But after a year of owning one, I traded in my beautiful 04 Gallardo last week for a 11' Turbo s Cab pdk. Theres no worse feeling then spending so much on a car only to have to worry after every joy ride you go on if it "could be the drive that leads to a 8k repair?". And even worse, spending that 8k just to have to spend another 8k on something else a few months later that the mechanic "conveniently missed". The h*** with that. Thats why I bought a newer model Porsche =]. Same entry price but no worries about ridiculously expensive repairs.

Look forward to seeing a few pictures and hearing about some details.
