Can always tell them you cleared codes with a durametric. Never had an issue with BMW and I have two friends that always flashes there's back to stock when doing service visits. Every dealer is different, but I don't see dealerships turning down work. Even though it's warranty, they still get paid.

There is a flash counter in the Porsche DME. When you change maps or install the AP it does not increment the flash counter. So they would not know on a basic dealer visit that the ECU had been flashed.
